COURSES IN ECOLOGY, CONSERVATION AND CULTURE

Ecuador has an almost bewildering variety of ecosystems and cultures, and even with a written field guide it can be difficult to form a coherent view of the country as a whole or the current status of conservation issues. Our Finding Species course leaders can help bring a clear focus to what could otherwise be a pleasant but somewhat confusing excursion for your group. Finding Species can coordinate all your in-country logistics and activities according to your needs, allowing you and your students and associates to dedicate yourselves to the learning experience. Aside from the broad knowledge-base possessed by our own course leaders, we can also bring in specialists and professionals who are involved in on-the-ground projects in ecology, sociology, archaeology, conservation, photography and many more areas. We’ll visit sites in remote areas as well as some of the most popular attractions that Ecuador has to offer. Our itineraries range from short one-day courses on specific subjects to three-week programs which will allow you to immerse yourself in the latest science and field techniques.
